Lauren Randi Glick, born in Salisbury, MD. A graduate of Berklee College of Music Boston, MA. with a Bachelor Degree in Film Scoring, started performing in Ocean City, Maryland in the early 1990's.

She can deliver just about any style of music, and Lauren is known as the "Janis Joplin" of the beach. Lauren sings from the heart and soul, giving it all she's got. On the other side of the spectrum, her original music is influenced by Tori Amos, Kate Bush, Sara McLaughlin, and Amy Mann.

Lauren sits behind an almond color Weber Grand Piano, singing deep lyrics with a clear and powerful voice. Lauren started singing when she was about 7 years old. Music from the Broadway show Annie was her first discovery. Lauren grew up listening to the 70's disco music. In college she studied Classical, Jazz, and Modern music, making her a well rounded singer. She is also very proficient on the bass guitar studying classical and jazz.

The Lauren Glick Band is made up of some of the finest musicians on the Eastern Shore. Kathy Denk on guitar and vocals, is Glick's partner in crime as both girls front the band playing mostly as a four piece. In 2006 they were voted musicians of the year, noted by Brenda Golden and the Coconut Times. The other musicians include Gary Yokois on drums. He is a very consistent drummer, setting up the beat for a variety of styles. The newest member of the band is john Heinz (he says just like the ketchup) on the fiddle , adding a country flair. Besides belting out the tunes, Lauren Glick plays bass and keyboards. The band is noted for its wonderful harmonies with these two powerful singers, Lauren's  and Kathy's voice each with its own separate identity. Kathy sings softer in a higher register, covering tunes from Sheryl Crow, Martina McBride and Sugarland, while Lauren's sultry and powerful voice covers Janis Joplin, Gretchen Wilson, Joni Mitchell to Alicia Keys. They also like to add original music to the set from their 3 CDs- Eternity, Love Tangles and Keep On Movin'. Added to the mix at times is Jeff Davis, on bass and Dave Winbrow on keys, allowing Glick to get up front and concentrate on just singing. When these two brilliant musicians are added , the band plays more dance music, taking you back to the 70's through current tunes. In addition to entertaining on some of the biggest stages around, the band enjoys playing at weddings and parties!
